Netblitz '06
Netblitz a two day Conference and Workshop was organised on March 18th and 19th by the Students and Instructors as part of the Cisco Networking Academy Programme activities. The chief guest of the occasion was Mr. Sesha Sai, the Education Programme Manager, India and SAARC, Cisco Systems and UN Volunteer at CISCO.
In this conference, the participants were exposed to the latest technology from the Cisco Networking Academy and will receive an insight into the working of the internet. The Workshop aimed at providing the participants an opportunity to gain hands-on experience at basic and advanced networking skills and techniques including router and switch configurations. It also included a technical quiz on networking.
For months together all the students and Instructors joined hands to keep the spirits high and keep working for the success of the embryonic goal. The satisfaction of successfully conducting the two-day Programme built immense confidence in the individuals. It also motivated the Academy students with high spirit.
Over 150 students and faculties from various colleges including the Industry participants participated in the programme. They had the best time for the two days. All were enthusiastic in attending the technical session, the dazzling quiz and the hands on workshop in the campus.
