Report on COMBAT ZONE
“The clash of the titans beckons”
No technical event is ever complete without entertainment and what could be better that having your wits matched up one on one on a computer game? Combat zone, was the no doubt the busiest place in the afternoon on the2nd day of Netblitz’ 07. we had FIFA 07, Need for Speed Most Wanted, Counter Strike 1.6 for the gamers and prizes worth Rs 3000/- up for grabs.
The enthusiastic response saw participation of more that 100 gamers who fought their way well and tried their level’s best get the prize. We had the following participants/teams who won the various tournaments in COMBAT ZONE
1) FIFA 07 – Mohamed Ghalib, CET Trivandrum. Prize - Rupees 750
2) Need for Speed Most Wanted - CET Trivandrum. Prize – Rupees 750
3) Counter Strike 1.6 – T.K.M, Kollam – Rs 1500
We are thankful to all the participants who showed proper gaming ethics and spirit of sportsmanship which helped us a lot in organizing the event in a proper manner. We also hope for similar gestures in the forthcoming events too
