Labs
The department is equipped with state-of-the art laboratories such as advanced metrology lab, mechatronics lab, having some of the most sophisticated equipment available today. In its quest to impart quality education to the students the department has signed MoUs with national and international organizations such as TESA of Switzerland.
The department has successfully established the following advanced Laboratories for the purpose of academics, Research and Industrial consultancy.
1. Advanced Metrology Lab:
The advanced Metallurgy lab is set up with complete infrastructure in collaboration with TESA Switzerland at a cost of Rs. 40, 00,000 in the premises. The lab has started operating successfully for the academic purpose initially and will be subsequently put into Research and consultancy work.
2. Advanced Computer Integrated Manufacturing Lab:
The Flexible and computer integrated manufacturing lab has been recently established for the academics, Research and consultancy work at a cost of 35 Lakhs. The lab is equipped with state of the art machines which include CNC Lathe Milling, Robotic systems, conveyor systems and Machine vision systems along with the supporting software.
