The Department of EEE that offers B.Tech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering was formed in June 2007. The EEE program which started in 2005 was being initially offered by the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering. Considering the growth potential of the EEE field, the Department of ECE spawned the Department of EEE and it started functioning as an independent department since June 2007
