One of our pre final year students Anirudh Goel became Microsoft student partner from Amritapuri.
Five teams from our pre final year batch participated in the National level programming contest launched by IBM, ~The Great Mind Challenge- 2006.

Archana. N (S6 CS) selected as the Campus Ambassador of Sun Micro Systems.
Naveen Menon, Rohit Nagesh, Roshan Thomas and Visakh M R (S8 CS) attended a Network Security Contest Named Capture The Flag conducted by the University California Santa Barbara on 07 Dec 2007.
Abhilash T G (S4 CS), Naveen Menon (S8 CS), Rohit Nagesh (S8CS), Jai Sanker (S8CS), Anoop (S8CS) attended ISDIKS-07, An international Symposium, at Cochin.
Sruthi P Deep (S6 CS), Parvathy S (S6 CS), Arjun Asok Nair (S6 CS), Archana N (S6 CS), Sindhu Vidyasagar (S6 CS), Divya Krishnan (S6 CS), Vishnu Datha K (S6 CS), Hima Gopi (S6 CS), Aswathy S (S6CS) attended FOSS.IN organized at IISC Campus, Bangalore from Dec 4-8 2007. This was an International Conference conducted on Open Source Software. More than 200 people from the corporate world participated. Around 50 speakers including CEO of Mozillla Firefox Mrs. Mitchell Baker delivered talks. These students visited SUN Microsystems campus by accepting invitation by SUN Micro Systems .
Around 50 students are participating for Code for Freedom (Online Bug Fixing Contests).
Following students are nominated as the members of Sun Club _ Avinash (S4 IT), Archana.N (S6 CS), Rishi (BSc CS), Jazzrin (BSc CS), Vishak (S8 CS), Sajith K (S6 CS).
Hands on Work shop on Netbeans and Open Solaris was conducted in the college on 27-28 OCT 2007. Vineeth Pillai and Amit Desai of Sun Micro Systems lead the lectures.
Winners of Science Quiz: -As a part of the Science Club a Quiz was conducted on 8 NOV 2007. Sahasranand & Sandeep P S of S6 CS bagged First place. Namitha Jain Itty & Ravi Narayanan of S6 CS bagged Second place.
Sreekanth T R of S6 CS was selected as Radio Jockey of 91.1 Radio Mango.
Ajith of S4 CS bagged Second place for Personality Contest conducted as a part of Technical fest called Lumier-07 at Kidangur College of Engineering.
