The two major projects undertaken by our faculty , Ms. Maneesha V Ramesh, the Sr.lecturer principal co-ordinator. WINSOC(Funding Agency: European Commission,Total Fund: 238200 EUR,Duration of project: Sep 2006 - Mar 2009), WINSOC part of ANTRIX(Funding Agency: ANTRIX ( a commercial arm of ISRO),Total Fund: 90838 EUR,Duration of project: Nov 2007 – Apr 2009).The project WINSOC (Wireless Sensor Networks with Self-Organisation Capabilities for Critical and Emergency Applications) is a Specific Targeted Research Project co-funded by the INFSO DG of the European Commission within the RTD activities of the Thematic Priority Information Society Technologies. WINSOC (http://www.winsoc.org/) is composed of eleven academic and industry partners, nine of them are from europe and two from India, all with substantial accomplishments in their fields. Amrita University and Antrix (Indian Space Research Organization) are the partners from India.
