Course Information
The B.Tech Degree course in Computer Science and Engineering has been designed with the objective of imparting quality education in the field of Computer Science and Engineering and to carry out leading-edge research in the discipline of Computer Science and Computer Engineering. With rapidly evolving technology and the continuous need for innovation the department has always produced quality professionals, holding important positions in Information Technology industry in India and abroad. The curriculum covers almost all the areas of Computer Science. It includes the core subjects such as Operating systems, Database Management Systems, Computer organization & Architecture, Computer Networks, Software Engineering, Software Project Management, Theory of Computation, Principles of Compiler Design, etc. Two types of electives are available to our students; science electives and core electives. The core electives itself is divided into different streams such as database streams, software streams, etc. The students can select their area of interest and take the corresponding elective courses.
