Amrita School of Engineering

B.Sc. (Computer Science) 3 years, 6 semesters
Eligibility: A pass in 12th standard with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with a minimum of 60% marks from any state board, CBSE or equivalent.*
Postgraduate programmes
Master of Computer Applications 3 years, 6 semesters
Admission to MCA programme is through the entrance examination conducted by Amrita in the month of April / May every year. Please visit the web site http://amrita.edu to know more about MCA admissions for this year to all the campuses.
M.Sc. (Computer Science) 2 years, 4 semesters
Eligibility: A pass in B.Sc. CS / CA / IT / SE / BCA / B.Sc. in Physics / Mathematics with Computer Applications with an aggregate of not less than 60% marks.
Selection will be made on the basis of the marks obtained in the qualifying examination.
Amrita School of Arts & Sciences
Undergraduate programmes
B. Com 3 years, 6 semesters
Eligibility: A pass in 12th standard from any state board, CBSE or equivalent in any discipline.*
B B M (Business Management) 3 years, 6 semesters
Eligibility: A pass in 12th standard from any state board, CBSE or equivalent in any discipline.*
*Selection is on the basis of the marks obtained in the qualifying examination.
M.Sc. (Integrated) (Physics & Maths) 5 years, 10 semesters (with an option to exit after B.Sc. (Physics & Maths) in 3 years).
Eligibility: A pass in 12th standard with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with a minimum of 60% marks from any state board, CBSE or equivalent.
Selection will be made on the basis of the marks obtained in the qualifying examination.
Postgraduate programme
Master of Social Work (MSW) 2 years, 4 semesters
Eligibility: Graduate degree in any discipline with a strong aptitude for Social Work
Selection will be made on the basis of an aptitude/entrance test and a personal interview.
M.Sc.Chemistry 2 years, 4 semesters.
Eligibility: B.Sc.in Chemistry with Physics and Mathematics as subsidiaries. Or B.Sc. in triple main system (Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics) or B.Sc. in double main system with Chemistry as one of the main subject.
Eligibility:A pass in B.Sc.with minimum 60% (excluding the mark obtained for English and Second language).
Selection will be made on the basis of the marks (excluding the marks obtained for English and Second language) obtained in the qualifying examination (B.Sc.).
Important dates:
Issue of application starts on 20th April, 2008
Last date of submission of filled application: June 15th, 2008
For postgraduate programmes: 30th June, 2008.
For M.Tech Programme: 15th June, 2008
